LOST: Down the Hatch is a weekly Post Show Recaps podcast series hosted by Josh Wigler and Mike Bloom. This rewatch podcast will chronicle LOST in its entirety from the beginning to "The End".
A Podcast By The Numbers[]
The show is broken down into several segments by "The Numbers":
- We Go "Four"th - (initially called 4 Stories) A deep-dive recap into the story both in front of and behind the camera, including specific plot points and thematic takeaways from a given episode.
- 8 Sounds - A segment replaying eight different moments from each episode which help guide listeners though the story.
- 15/16 Others - A segment featuring feedback and fun facts, as led by The Man Behind the Curtain, Ben Martell. Feedback should be sent to downthehatch@postshowrecaps.com.
- 23 Points - A weekly scoring system designed to establish the best and worst LOST characters
- 4.2 Stars - Official Down the Hatch ranking of every episode of LOST, rated on a scale from 0 - 4.2
- 108 Minutes - If a recap episode lasts for less than 108 minutes, a crisis will occur!

Official Down the Hatch ranking of every episode of LOST, rated on a scale from 0 - 4.2. At the end of each season's coverage, the average Audience Rating will be combined with Josh and Mike's ratings to calculate the ultimate score.

108 Minutes[]
Initially called 42 Minutes & 108 Minutes, this referred to the respective minimum and maximum amount of LOST content which would be in each episode. Josh and Mike vowed to deliver a minimum of 42 minutes and a maximum of 108 minutes. If the maximum was exceeded, a crisis would be triggered and a consequence would be selected from the Frozen Donkey Wheel.
After consistent failure to adhere to the 108 minute maximum, it was announced on the "House of the Rising Sun" episode that the rules had changed:
- A crisis is triggered if a podcast is less than 108 minutes long.
